Fearing that his prestigious name will be tainted, William returns to his home and searches for anything that could be worth some money. In the basement, he discovers a room once used by his ancestors with a strange magic square on the floor. There, he inadvertently summons the demon Dantalion, who declares that William is the Elector: one with the power to choose the demon who will rule over Hell.
